Collection: Crafty Glass Studio

My name is Jyoti Hawley and I’m a fused glass artist working from my studio in Ockbrook, Derbyshire, where I make a range of items including wall art, sculpture, home ware and jewellery. I love to experiment and so I never stop learning!

I take my inspiration from my love of nature in all its forms, from the movement of flowers in the breeze to waves crashing on the beach. Nature can be captured so well in glass and will be a beautiful and constant connection to it in your home.

My designs are created using layers of hand cut glass in all sizes, colours and forms. Once a piece has been completed and fused in the kiln, often more than once, it can then be placed on, or draped over a mould in the kiln to shape the piece. The possibilities are endless and each finished piece is unique. 

I take on commissions as I enjoy the collaboration and making something personal and 'one of a kind' that will be treasured.

Every piece is hand crafted and unique. The textures give them a tactile element as well as being visually enhancing, I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it!

I have an Etsy shop and I also sell a selection of my glass at The Makers in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
