Having originally trained in illustration, I always had an underlying interest and love of textiles and so it felt natural for me to bring these two elements together. My love of nature and being outside amongst it are my strongest influence for the creations of my designs. With the use of a variety of techniques such as hand painting, machine embroidery, applique, beading and distressing, brought together with a wonderful array of fabrics and painting mediums, I try to capture the true essence of some of nature’s most exquisite creatures and inspiring landscapes.
