Fused Glass
This framed beautiful hand-crafted fused glass Winter Tree Picture will look spectacular on your wall or would make a unique gift.
It has been handmade by me in my little studio. The tree trunks are hand painted on a clear glass base and then small pieces of white and iridescent clear glass have been arranged to make the Winter Tree design. Dichroic flakes have also been added to make the snow sparkle! The piece is then fired in my kiln to just the right temperature so that the glass only just starts to melt and becomes a smooth raised contour to the surface making a very tactile piece. Each time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed to give it durability and strength. The finished piece has then been carefully framed and is ready to hang.
Available in a choice of black or white frame.
Dimensions: The glass piece measures approximately 11cm x 11cm and the box frame measures approximately 25cm X 25cm square and 5cm deep.
